Comparison
Husky vs Wise
Husky and Wise solve different problems. Understand both models, and where a dollar account you control fits.

Different models
Husky is a receive-and-convert service: every incoming dollar is converted to reais on arrival, over SWIFT. It was acquired by Nomad and is being integrated. Wise is a global transfer platform built for moving money across many currencies.
What each costs
Husky typically charges 1% to 2% on a standard conversion (lower rates tend to be promotional or for specific clients). Wise applies 3.5% IOF plus its fee, commonly 4.5% or more all-in for BRL to USD.
The difference of a dollar account you control
With Ruvo, you keep the dollars instead of converting everything on arrival:
- 0% IOF on every operation.
- Receiving dollars is free; converting to reais is 0.5% when you choose.
- Hold the balance in digital dollars (USDT/USDC).
- Instant Pix and an international card with 0% IOF, which Husky does not offer.
A note on fees
Third-party fees and products change, especially with the Husky and Nomad integration underway. Data is from mid-2026; confirm on official channels before deciding.
