Getting Started with Ruvo

Ruvo is a fintech platform that lets Brazilians receive, hold, spend, withdraw, and send USD, with seamless conversion to BRL via Pix—protecting income from hidden fees, delays, and BRL depreciation. You money can be moved via Pix, ACH/Wire, and crypto transfers
Citizens of Brazil and the United States can sign up directly in the Ruvo app for personal or business accounts. If you hold another nationality, please contact us and our team will help you get started
Yes. Stablecoins are regulated in Brazil under Resolution 175/2024. Ruvo operates compliantly in partnership with licensed financial institutions and provides a non-custodial wallet and technology layer
Download the app, verify your identity, and access your non-custodial USDT wallet, connected to Pix and ACH/wire, with the ability to spend your crypto using a Visa card
For personal accounts, you’ll need a valid U.S. or Brazilian ID (RG, CNH, passport, or RNE), your CPF, a selfie, and proof of address; for business accounts, you’ll also need to provide your company’s articles of incorporation and CNPJ
Personal accounts are typically verified within minutes unless a manual review is required, while business accounts are usually verified within 1–3 business days

Getting Paid & Sending Money (USD, USDT, BRL)

Ruvo provides you with U.S. checking account details in your name. You can share the account and routing details with your payroll platform or use them to transfer funds from another US bank account. Once USD is received, the funds are automatically made available in your Ruvo wallet as USDT
Yes. Ruvo provides you with U.S. checking account details in the app through our banking partner, Cross River Bank. Simply share these details with platforms like Deel, Upwork, Payoneer, or others to receive USD payments
Ruvo supports USDT today, with plans to add USDC
Yes. You can send BRL via Pix and it will be automatically converted to USDT. The Pix transfer must originate from the same CPF or CNPJ used to register your Ruvo account
Yes. You can send funds to any U.S. bank account via ACH or wire through the Ruvo app after funding your balance with BRL, USD, or USDT
In the Ruvo app, tap Send, choose the Pix destination, and convert your USD or USDT to BRL at the commercial exchange rate
ACH and wire deposits are credited instantly once funds are received in your Ruvo-issued checking account, though delivery time depends on the sending bank. Stablecoin deposits typically take a few minutes, and USDT↔BRL conversions are completed within minutes
Crypto-to-crypto USDT transfers are free. Fees apply when receiving BRL or USD, or when converting USDT to USD or BRL, starting at 0.2% for Business accounts and 0.9% for Personal accounts. Full rate details are available in the app
Invoice generation in USD and BRL is coming soon. In the meantime, you can download your full transaction history directly from the app. If you need a custom report, just let us know
No, we are currently only accepting Wire and ACH payments from the USA.
Yes. BRL↔USDT limits start at USD 10,000 per transaction and USD 50,000 per day (Personal), and USD 30,000 per transaction and USD 100,000 per day (Business). Limits can be increased with enhanced verification. USD↔USDT transfers have no set maximums, though large amounts may require source-of-funds documentation
Yes. Ruvo supports USDT transfers on the Polygon network. Fees do not apply to these transfers

Using Your Ruvo Visa Card

Yes. Ruvo provides a Visa Platinum debit card for everyday spending. There are no fees on USD transactions and a 1% fee on non-USD spend.

Spend in U.S. dollars is free. Card purchases in other currencies incur a 1% fee plus the applicable foreign exchange rate
The Ruvo card is accepted anywhere Visa is accepted, including through Apple Pay and Google Pay
You fund the card by sending funds from your Ruvo wallet to your card balance before spending
Yes. You can transfer your card balance back to your Ruvo wallet at any time, so you’re never stuck with a leftover balance like with prepaid cards
Yes, transactions are visible instantly in the app.
Yes. You can freeze or unfreeze your card at any time in the app
Your available card balance determines your spending limit, and limits can be adjusted in the app
Ruvo currently supports Apple Pay and Google Pay. Physical cards are available upon request. Contact us for details

Withdrawing BRL via Pix

Yes. You can convert USD or USDT to BRL and withdraw via Pix
Pix withdrawals typically complete within 1–5 minutes
Withdrawal fees start at 0.2% for Business accounts and 0.9% for Personal accounts. Current rates are available in the app
Yes. The minimum withdrawal amount is 10 USDT, as shown in the app

Yes. You can withdraw to any person’s Pix key, including CPF, phone number, email, or a random Pix key. The Pix key does not need to be in your own name

If a Pix withdrawal fails, the funds are automatically returned to your Ruvo wallet. Contact support if you need assistance
Not yet. Pix withdrawals must currently be initiated manually, but scheduled withdrawals are in development
